Support Construction Funding for Lock 25
Sign the petition to demand swift action to modernize Lock 25 and secure the future of America’s river commerce.

Lock 25 on the Upper Mississippi River is a critical part of our Nation’s supply chain, moving millions of tons of grain, cement, fertilizer, steel, coal, chemicals and other commodities that are the underpinnings of the U.S. economy. Constructed in the 1930s, the current lock chamber is undersized and beyond it design life, causing costly delays that raise shipping costs, and expose exports, and make it harder for American producers to compete in global markets.
Increasing its capacity with a new 1,200-foot lock chamber opens up two- way traffic, reducing congestion, improving efficiency, and strengthening our supply chains for decades to come while supporting good-paying jobs in construction and related industries.

We cannot afford to wait any longer. Sign the petition today to urge Congress, the White House, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to fully fund this vital project to ensure its construction continues without delay. Together, we can secure a stronger economy, protect American jobs, and keep goods moving efficiently on our inland waterways.
